Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo (born February 20th, 2002) is an American musician, singer and actress. In the latter half of 2010 she became famous for her role as the lead actress on Disney's television programs Bizaardvark (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series). After signing with Geffen and Interscope Records in 2020, Rodrigo dropped her first single "Drivers License" that broke numerous records and became one of the top-selling songs of 2021, propelling her to mainstream fame. In the years following, she released singles "Deja Vu,"" and "Good 4 U" and her debut solo album Sour (2021) that received numerous accolades including three Grammy Awards. The Disney+ documentary, Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U, chronicling her process of creating Sour was released in 2022. Rodrigo has been a Billboard Hot 100 Number-One Single, one Billboard 200 Number-One Album, and five multi-Platinum Certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. Alongside her other awards Rodrigo was awarded the American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards, and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time declared her 2021 Entertainers' of the year. Billboard named it Woman of The Year in 2022. Olivia Isabel Rodrigo a daughter of Jennifer Rodrigo and Chris Rodrigo the family therapist, was born 20 February 2003 at Rancho Springs Medical Center Murrieta. Her family resides in Temecula. Rodrigo is an Filipino American, is Rodrigo;[8] Her father is Filipino and her mother is German and Irish. Rodrigo has said that her paternal grandfather moved from the Philippines to the United States when she was a teenager. Her family also follows Filipino customs and cuisine. Rodrigo took vocal lessons in kindergarten. He also learned piano quickly. She began taking acting and singing classes when she was six years old. She also began acting in the theater of her elementary school productions. Rodrigo was already playing guitar by the age of 12. [12] She grew-up listening to alternative music like Pearl Jam and No Doubt. Rodrigo began to listen to country music, and especially Taylor Swift. 14 years ago, she moved to Los Angeles after she was offered the role of Bizaardvark.
